- Profile information: Artist or venue name, act type, genres, performance style, venue description, photos, and other profile details you choose to provide.
- Location data: City, market areas, and geolocation (when you grant permission) used for matching Artists with nearby Venues and markets.
- Booking information: Dates, times, compensation details, and communications related to gig bookings.
- Communications: Messages sent through the Platform, feedback submissions, and support requests.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Usage data: Pages visited, features used, booking activity, and interaction patterns.
- Device information: Browser type, operating system, device type, and screen resolution.
- Log data: IP address, access times, and referring URLs.
- Cookies and similar technologies: As described in Section 6 below.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your account.
- Match Artists with Venues based on location, genre, and availability.
- Facilitate the booking process, including notifications and calendar management.
- Send transactional communications (booking confirmations, schedule changes, account updates).

- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.

- Clerk — Authentication and user management. Processes name, email, and login credentials.
- Supabase — Database hosting. Stores account data, profiles, and booking records.
- Vercel — Application hosting and deployment. Processes request logs and performance data.
- Resend — Transactional email delivery. Processes email addresses and message content.
- Twilio — SMS notifications. Processes phone numbers and message content.
- Google Places API — Venue and city search functionality. Processes location queries.
- PostHog — Product analytics. Processes usage data and interaction events.
- Sentry — Error tracking and monitoring. Processes error reports and device information.
5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
We may share your information in the following circumstances:
- Between users: Profile information, booking details, and communications are shared between Venues and Artists as necessary to facilitate bookings.
- Service providers: With the third-party services listed in Section 4, solely to operate the Platform.
- Legal requirements: When required by law, subpoena, court order, or government request.
- Safety: To protect the rights, safety, or property of Apollo, our users, or the public.
- Business transfer: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to affected users.
6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

- Authentication: Session cookies to keep you logged in securely.
- Preferences: Storing your settings and display preferences.
- Analytics: Understanding how users interact with the Platform to improve the experience.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or necessary to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements.
Anonymized and aggregated data that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely for analytics and product improvement.
